I ran the Broad Street Run in Philly for IBRD. They advertise it as the countries largest 10 mile race and is sold out every year and capped at 40,000 runners. I finished in 1:14;14 @7:25 avg all barefoot. I didn't see any other barefooters but I had a friend start barefoot and put his Vff's on at some point during the race. I wore my BRS shirt. If I figure out how I will post a pic. Conditions were great for the first 4 miles then it was a little rough the last 6 but would have been fine if I were smart enough to slow down. Overall I would call it Barefoot Friendly.
