I learned an important lesson today about the necessity of driving a new route first. I used map my run to develop a new 9 mile loop for todays run. Turns out that miles 6 & 7 were chip seal. Oh joy./sites/all/modules/smileys/packs/Roving/shock.png
I ended up running on the double yellow line. There was no white line at the edge of the road. The road also had a drainage ditch on both sides with no grass shoulder to run on. Fortunately only one car passed me while I was running in the middle of the road. I moved over to let them pass.
