Hi everyone!
I'd like to open up a new thread about running logs, training logs, diarys, growth charts, whatever you want to call the things we use to keep track of mileage. Since I'm starting this thread (TJ, if this is the wrong forum, please tell me which forum I should be posting this into,) I'll start by sharing my 'running log' with some examples and screen shots.
I want the goal to be sharing data and information, but also to look for ways to spot gaps in our running/training/racing. Perhaps this will help you prevent or reduce injuries. Maybe not make the mistakes I've made. Please be polite and respectful when 'critiquing' and please share your thoughts/comments/suggestions. But most importantly, share what you use to keep track of daily runs and workouts.
I'm sure there are lots of smartphone apps out there that can do this same stuff, lots better too! I just enjoy working with spreadsheets, primarily Excel.

ps; Take some of this with a big grain of salt. Just because I'm doing 'x' doesn'tmean you should be doing it, or maybe 'y' is better for your situation.
