5K trail run in Western NJ - Jugtown Jog

I am thinking about doing this event:

It doesn’t seem to be an overly competitive event, more of a fun run. I live pretty close so I am going go down to the park this weekend to see if the trail is conducive to my newbie feet.

Anyone else interested?

Post in the NJ Chapter in case anyone else may be lurking there. Once we get the email notifications working on the site, messages like that in the chapters will be broadcasted.

I would but I'm doing a local 5k with my 7yr old son in Smithville Park Eastampton NJ the same day. I will run it barefoot he would like to but we tested the trail the other day and the crushed limestone trail is a little rough for him so he will wear his merrells or vff's.

I pass that way a couple times a month on my way from Princeton to Bethlehem, PA, using Re 579.

This weekend I'm booked with a 26 mile race in York, PA. I'll be back to more modest trail runs soon.
