Picked up a six pack of Sierra Nevada Beer Camp Hoppy Lager. Read the description at home and was a little worried about it being a blonde lager. I don't like any beers with "blonde" in the title. Really surprised. A good beer, plenty of hops without the syrup of strong IPA's. Going to get more on my next trip to Arizona.
I also recently saw and tried the 2015 Beer Camp Hoppy Lager. Was pleasantly surprised! Definitely very hoppy! I also tried another that I thought would be a bit weak that turned out very nice, Southern Tier's 'Where The HELLES Summer?' lol. Very fitting for a spring ale! A nice light 4.6% that’s great for lunch or an afternoon beer but still plenty of flavor. Then on the opposite end of the spectrum, last night I tried Southern Tier's Warlock, an imperial stout brewed with pumpkins. It was alright for a once in a great while stout. Stouts just generally aren't my thing though I do love pumpkin ales.
Can't wait for GL's Chillwave. Also their Rye of the Tiger IPA I think comes out late winter/spring.
