Nonsense....we all know that nike cleats and gatorade make for true champions....none of that sissy mid foot strike $h!T

I've still got a pair of Asics gel cumulus that I wear around here and there. I leave them loosely tied for slip-on and slip-off. With them being looser than a regular tie, I think it would encourage me to run with a forefoot landing if I actually went running with them.
