Northville Solstice

Competed the 10 mile race in my KSO's with my wife and youngest daughter. This was my daughters first road race and I have now run at least a ten mile road race with all four of my children. It was a bit muggy and a few sprinkles at times but turned out to be a beautiful day all in all. Lonboard and his wife were the only people I saw barefoot during or after the race. I heard there were a few other VFF's out there but I did not see anyone with them. My son is coming back from a foot injury and ran the 5K and said at some point in the race he saw Longboard go cruising by bare. Way to show them youngters what your made of Board!

Very cool! How awesome to run with your kids. I hope some day my oldest will take up running and run with me. Younger one runs with me a little, but is not up to a 5K yet. She does run barefoot though.

I hope my kids will run with me some day. I was proud my daughter did a run/walked 5K not long ago and in the middle of it said "I'm gonna bust out of these shoes". She did the rest bare (she's 7). Beautiful report!
