Hello. Been running shod for a number of years and always have wanted to go minimal. Recovering from a torn meniscus repair has opened the barefoot door.
I just started training again after a 9 month layoff and have been running a mile each day at lunch. At the end of each run I have been taking off my shoes and completing the last 200m barefoot. Last Friday I did the whole mile barefoot.
Each time I took off my shoes I noticed the slight knee pain that I still have disappears.
I just received a pair of Xeros and plan to train in them as much as possible unless the snow is flying.
Jeff
