i love watching nature shows. there was one where fruit fell off the tree and many different animals were coming and eating the downed fruit. then they all stumbled off drunk because it had fermented. yeah. alcohol is natural. a great gift from god. or mother nature or whoever you believe in.

Natural. A paleo enthusiast here once described how some grains would be found growing naturally and they would be boiled in water over an open fire before being consumed. The water with the residue was saved for drinking later, but naturally occurring yeasts in the air would ferment it. They liked it so much that they decided to settle down from their nomadic ways and cultivate crops of grains instead.

Natural beer together with fermented grapes caused civilization to happen on the weekends...weekends lead to weekdays and the rest is history...end of Paleo.
