Yesterday, I did my first BF trail run. After successfulkly navigating a 5km loop behind my house in VFF sprints, I figured I probably could handle it BF. I knew I could handle 5km BF on the roads and sidewalks...just wasn't sure about the hills and trails.
Success. The arch on one foot looks a bit 'black and blue' with stone bruises, but it's not sore at all, and my feet had that nice tingly feeling that night in bed. Of course, it's autumn here now, so my opportunities to run it BF will diminish from now on.
But it great to have a nearby trail I can practice on.
I also exterimented with a little video camera mounted on my cap. (just $12 from Dealextreme.com) I got the angle wrong, so it's a great record of the track itself...but not very interesting. If I can get it converted from a 3.3GB AVI file to something smaller AND not too pixelated, I'll put some of it on FB.
