Miles RACED in 2010

I like running and entering a lot of races as I feel it helps me to stay motivated and focused on running.

So far I have done the following:

2 - 50k

2 - marathons

4 - half marathons

1 - 25k

1 - 15k

2 - 10k

3 - 5k



This ends up totalling around 213 race miles for the year if my math is legit.

One of the guys in my running group just tallied his race mileage up and came up with a total of 437!!!

I'm at 12.4 miles raced for the year. I also have another 5k tomorrow and an 8k on Dec. 5th so that will bring my year up to 20 miles raced. I only got my butt off the couch and started running in July too.

plus a 5k obstacle course 1/2 in water shoes 1/2 barefoot

40.3 not including the obstacle course. It will probably be about the same next year. I only had once race run hard.

I raced 14.3 miles in 3

I raced 14.3 miles in 3 races, all barefoot. Would have done more, but couldn't justify spending my unemployment on something I can do for free. We should start some punk-rock style $5 5K's. Use google maps and a wrist-watch. That I can afford!

2011 Goal: 3 5k's, 2 10 K's, 1 Half all BF

This was my transition year, so mix of BF and minimal shoes

81 miles in total.

20 miles barefoot.

Well since there arent any

Well since there arent any races left this year for me I guess I can post this up now. Started running barefoot/minimalist about 4 months ago.



2 - 5k's - both barefoot

1 marathon - first 12 miles barefoot last 14.2 in VFF



So that puts me at 32.4 miles raced - 18.2 miles of them barefoot
