Mileage Reporting Week 5 ( Jan. 29 - Feb. 4 )

2.1 miles at Presque Isle on Monday with windy conditions and temp. in the mid-30's. I happened to see 2 Bald Eagles perched high up in a nearby tree, so that was a bit unusual. The run went well as I come back yet again, this time from a bad bout of sciatica. I saw one other runner during my run. It felt great to get out with no pain.

Boulder and I did a 3 mile run Tuesday at 4:30 am. It was 43 deg. f. with no wind. The sky was clear, lots of stars and a large moon. No wildlife spotted on this outing.

Really fun.

We did a 3 mile run Thursday at 4:30 am. It was 48 deg. f. with light wind. We spotted a few rabbits.

Really fun outing.

2.2 mile run around my neighborhood in damp conditions and 34 degrees. I saw a large doe running through a neighbor's yard and a couple of wild turkeys. My body felt good but still getting a little winded as I attempt to get back to my previous pace. It felt good to get outside.

We did a 3 mile run Sunday at 7:00 am. It was light out and very cloudy. It was 48 deg. f. with light wind from the northeast. We spotted horses, cows, one hawk, geese, ducks, cedar waxwings and any other birds.

Really great outing!!
