Boulder and I got a break in the weather and did a 3 mile run Tuesday at 4:30. It was 39 deg.f. with very dense fog. The country road was darker than ever for this time in the morning. The road was wet but my feet did good.
I did 2 miles at Presque Isle on Thursday afternoon after the fog finally cleared a little. I've taken the last 2 weeks off as I recover from a bad case of sciatica on my left side. The run went well with no pain. I was more winded than usual though. I ran in my rubberized socks with an air temp of 40. It felt so good to get back in the saddle.
We did a 3 mile run Friday at 4:30 am. It was lighter and less fog than Tuesday. It was 48 deg. f. with no wind. We spotted a skunk, rabbits, a horse and some deer.
