Nice 5 mile run at 5:00 am 73 deg. f., 83 % Rh.. heard some very vocal frogs on the creek crossings sounded cool!
Brief report from Germany. 70 miles this week (19 bf). Enjoying the rain and humidity here. Pavement is bf friendly. Graveled roads and trails not. A lot of sharp crushed stone. Trails are not very runable. Either rocky or wet and rooty and i don't want miss the scenery anyway. Great for fast hiking though. Plan is for a few bf miles daily with some long shod journeys mixed in. Like to give more details, but typing on a phone is a pain. Prost!
16.1km/10mi today, with some light trail in the local golf course. I fell in the water when trying to cross a rocky section along the beach, got scratches everywhere !
Any video footage? Nice run!
Nice mileage Rick! I don't ever see myself even having the time to put those kind of miles in unfortunately.Brief report from Germany. 70 miles this week (19 bf).
Thanks for including the pics! Always nice to see as well as read.Friday evening - ended up going on a hike down by the Boise River in my nice dress after a yummy dinner with friends at a restaurant there.
I won't argue that we humans aren't accomplished sweaters, but man I hate pulling off a sweat-soaked tee shirt. Just something about how it feels against the back. Ugh.
12.6 mile long run today, 9.6 miles were barefoot. Went really well, was helped some by it being it cooler and slightly less humid. Still was a sweaty mess by the time I finished.
The funny thing about today's run was when I went out I was hardly feeling a want to run. I kind of thought I might only do 5 to 6 miles or so and call that good enough. But once I got rolling and got comfortable with the idea that I could do a long run instead of wussing out, then it got all good and happy. If I could just stop having really freaky dreams, that would probably help with that motivation when first getting out of bed.
