Nick, I have read a lot of your posts and it seems like we have similar problems with shoes. We can't find anything wide enough. I am still using shoes as crutches and hope to find the perfect pair. I am starting to realize that isn't going to happen, so the new plan is to run barefoot as much as possible and get use to the rougher conditions in huaraches. I have already discovered that running in huaraches with toe socks is much more comfortable and warmer than my Vibram's. But, if the Road Gloves ever come in stores, I will still try them on to satisfy my curiosity.
Although having wide feet can be frustrating when shopping for shoes, it is a great benefit for barefoot running and I would never wish for slimmer feet.
