Last week I was comfortable running 5K barefoot, so I popped it up to 4 miles this week. I ran up a very long and steep hill, then back down it. This about covered the four miles. Now my knees are kind of sore. Is this normal?
it could be the up or the down and it could also be the extra mile given that it was on a hill. i would say that it is normal but that you also better listen to it and not get back out there till it tells you to.
Yeah I figured that. If I rested it for a few minutes without movement it would stiffen up. I ran today. I started out walking, ran a quarter mile, then walked an eighth of a mile, then ran ~3 miles. After the initial run/walks my knees were fine and are still fine. I should probably give my "injuries" some time before I complain about them here.
