Hello everybody. I've been lurking here for a few months. Wonderful forum!
I started solely running BF in may, shortly after having bought another set of shoes (which gave me heel pain). I'm a recreational runner but have slowly upped the BF mileage (kilometerage, actually!) and can do 10km with proper form (welll, there's always room for improvement, of course). I run on gravel paths and asphalt.
I've only been running for 2 years and suspect that transitioning is going relatively smoothly for me as I haven't become set in my running ways (I was a couch potato before, heavy smoker too - but quit 3 years ago).
BF is so incredibly much fun! The sensation, stimuli, disbelieving passers-by and not least being mindful.
I'm entering my first races in september. First a 10km, and later a half marathon. My goals are having a good time and finish. Nevermind the time.
