Check it out. Dr. Irene Davis's lecture videos appear on Podiatry Arena (posted on July 24, 2011), an anti-barefoot group. Doesn't look like there is conversation from the podiatrists or other health care professionals on these videos yet, but perhaps soon.

Unfortunately, that forum is plagued with people from both camps throwing person insults and conjecture. It isn't even clear in the "barefoot running" threads what issue is. They argue from the best shoes (are there any? LOL) to whether running barefoot can be injury free. ...post after post questioning peoples credentials to even be posting there. Sheesh...

The best advice is to do what makes you happy. If that means running in shoes, so be it. If that means running barefoot, so be it. If that means running in "barefoot shoes" (LMAO), then so be it. Excercise common sense. Everyone knows how to run. The act itself is pretty easy. Each one of us are unique and optimum form for one person may not be optimum for another. BTW... that is conjecture. LOL
