Thank you, TJ, for the news. From what I remember, it was a barbaric attack. I'm curious why the perpetrator did it, but the article doesn't say. This case actually was tragedy on multiple fronts -- the pervasive dishonesty of dozens of witnesses, the shallow police investigation, and the burden of proof on the wrong accused (and burden of paying for an independent investigation). I think the most shocking is the large number of presumably "law abiding" people who would knowingly let an innocent man get convicted and help a guilty man evade justice.
 
Yes, that does seem so messed up. Glad the innocent man is free and can now be left alone.
 
If only Benjamin Vogl ran barefoot... he would look a lot happier, and none of this would have happened.
