Would it be possible to add other special dates from members' lives to the calendar? For example: my wedding day is August 9, 2014. :D

That is not up to me you would have to ask TJ. I would say no just because if we do it for one person other people would want it done also. Sorry but that is my thought. But congrats on your wedding.

I was asking on behalf of all members :D. I'm sure others would appreciate "happy anniversaries" or "congrats on (fill in the blank)"

I'd have to think about it myself. Not saying no, just not warmed up to the idea.

This would probably require another module upgrade, right Matt? Something we would have to pay for that would merge personal date info such as non-birthdays from the member account profiles to the main Calendar? People would have to enter their date info into their profiles and then select to share that info on the Calendar from within their profiles. I don't see it in the budget, if that is the case. Otherwise, entering the info separately would be too time consuming and require admin overhead especially for recurring dates, such as anniversarys, since the Calendar isn't set up for this type of entry.

    TJ-As a non-tech geek, I didn't realize the upgrade needed, along with cost. I guess I'll start a thread about anniversaries. ;)

TJ- once people have posted some responses to that thread (I put it in the Pub) would it be okay to "sticky" it?
