Today I ran my farthest BF run in the 14 months I've been at this, and it started out on wet pavement, too. I ran 1:34, about 9.5 miles, this AM, on the Schuylkill River Trail and my local offshoot loop. I have a 15K trail race coming up and this run was a key confidence builder. It went just fine. Because I started out just after a rain squall went through our area I was extra careful to maintain optimum form and save my soles. I took inspiration from several posts from my stalwart BRS colleagues who made it clear that it IS possible to run a long way on wet surfaces. I thank you all for sharing your good experiences.
