Week 2 end...

I had a blast this week! Using the inhaler is making running much more enjoyable, for sure. I've been tackling the hills around here instead of dreading them which is nice. I think starting the whole program over was just what I needed to motivate me and help me work up.

I've also been making an effort to eat healthier and to cut some calories so I can lose a few pounds. I'm using fitwatch for a few weeks, tracking stuff just so I can get an idea of what my food intake really looks like. Easy to see that even though I thought I was eating much healthier than say a year or two ago that I still eat way too much crap. Ugh. I just really like my food. lol

I'm finding that I feel hungry a lot even though I am eating healthy foods. I tend to be a grazer and so really need to figure out what is good to graze on when I get the munchies. Stuff that helps with energy, doesn't cause sugar crashes, is low calorie. If anyone is reading this I'm open for good snack ideas. I usually do veggies, sometimes with hummus or homeade granola bars with peanuts and dried fruit, raw almonds and sunflower seeds also tend to be among my favorites, but I get tired of eating the same thing.

Looking forward to week three!
