So, I'm sitting around, reading about other people's running lives because I have a shin splint. How do I know this is a shin splint? Because the outside of my left shin feels and sounds like celery that is being crunched. This crunchy celery shin splint is my fault completely. This knowledge...
In my non running, non granola and soap making life, my husband and I run a business valuation company. Each year we make the trek to Orlando to exhibit at a large conference for tax professionals. What a bunch of fun people. You'd think that if you are trying to assist people with their estate...

I'm up to two miles (25 mins) 3x/week running in homemade huaraches. The IT band wrap is wonderful http://www.injurybegone.com/products/itband-KNEE.html. My kneecap doesn't ache when it's on - can I wear this thing until my soon to be stellar career is over? It's a little itchy but worth the...
