Well I think I can finally say I'm back in the game. Only about a normal weeks mileage worth of runs for all of January and February (well not sure if I even ran in February lol) but with the warmer temps I've made a few runs in the last few days. First barefoot run was last week. Earlier today the sun was out bright and got my first no shirt or shoes run in, 5mi. The sun felt so good on the skin! Its like an instant mood booster after a long, cold winter.
For me, that still makes barefoot the marked category, as though you start shod, and then undo or reverse it. I feel more gruntled when barefoot is the implied unmarked, or default category.I prefer shod vs unshod, similar to encumbered vs unencumbered, chained vs unchained, enslaved vs unenslaved, restricted vs unrestricted.
2.64 miles in my monos at avg 10:05 pace. Felt really good actually and wanted to keep going, but with the race this weekend I was able to keep myself in check. So if most of you all haven't noticed I have been on here during the day again. I quit my job last week and am going back to school again. It was costing us more in daycare costs than what I made, which made it silly for someone else to watch the kids.
Well, I couldn't find jobs in field I originally went to school for. Too much competition. Too many people with experience willing to take entry level positions... Decided screw it, gonna go back to school only this time I'm gonna do what I want, which is only available during the day which is why I didnt do it first time (because of daycare costs). Only reason I went business in first place was because there were night classes. Just gotta wait for VA to approve, which could take months...I'm glad your going back. Are you going to get an MBA?
