Hi fellow BFers! I am new to this site, but have been following several barefeet websites/books/research for about two years now. I have been a runner from a very young age (about 5 years old) because my parents were. I have shared many of the same experiences associated with the barefeet running journey such as TMTS; hot surfaces; snow freeze; comments from "shoddies" (has this phrase been coined yet?) I've been a barefeet runner now for about two solid years. Thanks for a great site; it's refreshing to hear all of the great BF adventures and motivates me to keep on running!

I like "Aloha" because in an online environment, one is in a constant state of Hello and Goodbye; there just isn't a comparable mainland equivalent. I'm in Wrightwood in the San Gabriel Mountains.
