I figure to be graduating next Spring, Steph finishing the academic part of her Ph.D the following Spring (research time for her dissertation is unknown). Based on these dates/facts, when should we start each phase?

1.Wedding in August of '14
2.I'm wearing a gown, Steph a tuxedo
3.We expect 80 guests or so (menu not totally vegan, but will accomodate my preferences)
4.Honeymoon in Paris
5.Ceremony at our current church (Unitarian)
6.(As mentioned elsewhere) I'm changing my last name

Mandy, my husband & I were married in Scotland, just the two of us and no planning other than getting a license and travel arrangements, so I'd be of no help. However, I wish you and Steph the very very best of luck and am glad you live in a state that allows you to marry!

I can't say either. August 2014 sounds like a lonnnnngggggg way off. I proposed to my wife in January 2007 and the wedding was August 2007.
