Hi all!

My question is:

What muscles of foot can be suspected to be prolonged and weak and what muscles to be shortened an maybe too strong in case of bunion? I mean the case when 1st metatarsal bone moves medialy, are there any muscles that can deacrese the dergee beetwen 1 and 2 metatarsal back?

Or it is thought to be only ligament genesis deformation?

thanks.

For bunions and what is

For bunions and what is called Halux Valgus (your big toe going medially) you're dealing with a weakness of the tibials posterior, and often the hallicus longus and brevis. The two main treatments are 1) follow the advice I show in the plantar fasciitis video and 2) get some Correct Toes to help with the bony-misalingment.
