We have a hard enough time explaining to people what the differences between a true minimalist running shoe and a traditional boat anchor are; and just when we think we're making progress, here comes RW to screw that all up!

This is sad! Financial interests? Thinking inside the box? We know we still have work to do.
On a happy note, I have found people at local stores where I live to be very responsive compared to one year ago. They just gave me funny looks and had no idea what I was talking about then and now EVERY store that carries running shoes in our area has at least one option, typically VFF's, Merrell Trail glove, NB Minimus and Skeletoes. And most of them are SELLING OUT, and so do water shoes at Walmart.
