Doing the LaniKai Sprint Tri this Sunday. It's my last tune-up race before my first Olympic distance in May and I'm pretty pumped. Feel like I haven't gotten a real quality ride in my last few times out on the bike for various reasons, but I should be good for the 12.2mi. Will be my first race with aerobars and in my head that will make me faster. My runs have been feeling pretty decent, aside from some knee tightness during/following the last two. I love me some swimming, so that should go well. The hardest part about that is the mosh pit mass start and getting out in front of the flailing masses. I'm looking for a good showing, putting about 80-85% into it because I will be crashing right back in to training the following Monday. Really, I should be done in under an hour ten, so it will be shorter than the ride I would have planned for that day anyway. The run will be either in my KSOs or TrekSports. I think the ground where the race is is a little more chunky than normal, so that call will be made the morning of depending on how it looks.
