I just got a pair of road gloves online, but it seems like they have arch support, which is rather painful. Does anyone know if its true arch support or just a shoe midsole support that wont actually support my arch?

They say it's only to support the shoe, but I'm overly sensitive to shoes with arches and that definately has an arch that pushes up on my foot and causes me pain. I was pretty bummed because the shoes looked good too. I was able to try them on in the store so I didn't buy them. Hope you are able to return them if you can't tolerate them.

If they are anything like the trail gloves, they arch will compress over time. It bothered the snot out of me in my MBTGs at first, but it went down.
