ITBS, hip strengthening, frequency??

I've been battling an ITBS flair up recently. I'm now doing the hip strengthening exercises and wondered if its better to do those daily or every other day to allow for the hips to rebuild in between sessions.

IMHO, not more than 3 times a week. It can take your leg muscles up to a full week to recovery from a strenuous workout. I am assuming that the exercises you are doing are not overly strenuous but you should still allow for recovery time.
 
I agree with the Bubbster...2-3 times per week works for me. I still get sore as hell after a squat workout, but not so much after things like box jumps and lunges.
