Back again after my long break in the very wet and cold UK. Good to get back to Australia again and some decent weather to run in.
Anyway, the question:
Has anyone ever had a cramp like pain in the ankle where it feels like your ankle is going to fold around so you are looking at the underneath of your foot (best way I can describe it).
It all stems from a run I went on around a month ago. The next day the ankle was a little sore, right around the large bone of the joint, on the right leg, inside.
I assumed it was maybe a strain as I had been running on uneven ground, maybe the tendon that pulls the foot arch up.
It didn't stop me running but I will get some really painful cramp every now and again if I am in bed or stretching.
I've never had cramp in the ankle joint ever and am curious to know if anyone else has and what they think causes it.
