having them there is slightly irritating. Why not set it up so that when we log in, we go to a forum of our choosing via preferences in our profile page?

They are not old posts. They look like old ones because we have not updated them. It is more front page news on what is going on in the site. As for the other request I would have give that consideration. I am going to be implementing a bookmark system which might make it easier. Then you can go to things right away. But you always have watched threads which you can click on and go straight to the threads also.
Since you're only showing the last four, is there a way to make the others available by clicking on their page numbers. We have lots of people who read stuff that took place way before the last four articles shown.
