Ran around for about 45 minutes in my luna monos chasing boy around while he rode his bike. Good fun and good exercise after my mom sent me a care package and blew my diet for me for the day (no will power on my end....).
2 hr nap today. apparently i was tired.
Line,
I'm curious as to why your slowly increasing your running time and then blowing it with super long races? why not just run longer or run shorter races?
sced, i don't trust those maps. they get you close but never right there.
Bowel habits are next ...From running, to hiking, to walking, to napping, to...DEATH MILEAGE REPORTING must be just around the corner!
This may seem comical, but it is a fact. Almost all old people will become obsessed with their bowel movements at one time or another. Grocery shopping will become focused on bran cereals, prunes, and fiber as well as the inevitable forms of laxatives, suppositories, enemas, and antidiar-rhea medications for times when they have overdone the combinations.

I dig it and there are some others who train low mileage yet run ultras, so I guess do what works for you and what you enjoy. I have a tendancy to run fairly short runs too mostly because of the same reason, I like to run everyday. If I run longer distances a lot I tend to have more injuries spring up, but running low mileage mostly with the occasional long run feels pretty good.Well, I like to run almost everyday and increase that slowly. I can't run every day if I don't increase it that way I can't do it, because that would be too much. I blow it all with long races just because of pure lust and willingness to not listen to my common sense.. and to see if I can do it, if I've become better. It does not make sense. I know.
Where did they break? Is it repairable? After how many miles?sandals all out of commission!!! grrr
Sounds nice! Photos? Thanks!Ran for about 12 minutes on treadmill today testing out my sandals I finally was able to finish.
I will do that Sid. I've got people that want me to make them some already, but problem is with this design (with a normal flat sole) you have to customize to the person everything, from sole to lace to heel strap to lace around ankle. The folks that want them say they look like normal sandals, and that is really appealing I guess because people don't want to stand out much with their footwear. Oh, and the sandal I am using is an old one of mine which is already broken in and molded to my feet. I can see new ones potentially being not as good at first, but getting better with age, kinda like a fine wine.Sounds nice! Photos? Thanks!
