Well last Thursday was an eventful time for Special Olympics. My friend Megan, who's a barefooter from Ames came out to watch me win gold in bocce. We got a picture with fellow barefooter and Special Olympian Katie. Megan hung out with my mom and I in her bare feet, I had my FiveFingers. Megan...
Well my time in Orlando wrapped up not too long ago. I got sixth place in bowling singles, seventh in doubles, and fifth in teams. I had fun no matter what award I got. I was even highlighted on ABC for the autism drivers license designation I helped pass.
The Special Olympics USA games lead up fitness challenge starts in two days. I'll be using my new Vibram V-NEOP FiveFingers when I go back to the office that same day. One million steps for 20 weeks. Wish me luck.
The Special Olympics SO Fit Now app is now available so I'll be using it to track my steps for that fitness challenge starting in January. I'm looking forward to giving this a try.

I'm thinking of doing track & field for Special Olympics again. I'm not sure about doing it barefoot though. Since I prefer walking barefoot over running. What do you guys think about that?
