GIVEAWAY - Xero Shoes Amuri Z-Trek Sandals July Giveaway Expires Monday, July 11, Noon EST

I really love my z-trek sandals and can heartily recommend them for anyone. I have had mine since this last fall, and I use them more than my regular shoes. Winning another pair would be cool, though I might rather get them for my wife and kids.

[Mar 24, 2016] 6th Annual Winter Challenge (Worldwide)

I'm deciding right now to give this a good try. I've got a run of about exactly a kilometer just around my neighborhood, so that will be my goal. Is it for cumulative miles or just the best one?

11 Reasons Podiatrists Dislike Bare Feet

There might be rather less tarmac and concrete around, too.

Sensori Venture by Xero Shoes, the drawing winner's test.

Almost a couple of months later and I am still enjoying the sandals. They hold up very nicely and are very handy to throw under the van's driver's seat so I can take them into the store or leave them alone as the mood strikes me. I'm not an activist, so I'm not trying to push too many...

My own answers have inspired me to bare my feet more. They are liking it.

Yeah, I had all of those issues. I don't think the rubber toe strap is as good an idea as it was supposed to be, but the feet get kind of used to the squished feeling after a while. They do have to be rather tight to work right, I guess. The next couple of days (one hot and one much cooler) I...

A brief update on the shoes. They continue to get more comfortable as my feet get used to them. In warm weather they are great, and while I do prefer bare feet on newer concrete or grass lawn, or even my weedy lawn, they make any other surface much more comfortable to walk or run on. I find...

Short text only update. I find the Xero Shoes are great on rocks and gravel. I had occasion to walk over a sharp gravel parking area and was pleased with not feeling every point and edge. I find that there are a couple of weak places, though, when it comes to driving and carpets. They like...

Still trying out the shoes, still liking them. The only problem I am having is that the heel straps keep falling down. I think I have them a little too loose. Also not sure whether I like barefoot or these for driving better. The feet are not used to the shoes, particularly the toe string...

Sensori Venture by Xero Shoes, the drawing winner's test.

Hi, I'm Mike, and I had the wonderful fortune of winning the drawing that closed on the 14th of March. Here it is not two weeks later, and I have the shoes on my feet. First thing to be pleased about is how quickly the shoes arrive in the mail. Well, no. The first thing to be pleased about is...

    Hello From Bromsgrove, UK

The folks that do the analytics are the same ones who sell shoes. Be skeptical of them more than of the guys who tell you you are created to walk and run without equipment. I did too much too soon, doing a mile barefoot in my first week, and got blistered up on the concrete. Take it slow and...

    Feeling heelstrike on walking?

Whenever I heelstrike, I get this awful sharp pain right between the shoulders and my right shoulder blade goes all tingly. The medical folks say it is a disk bulging into my spinal cord. I have a real incentive to stride correctly.

    Methode Naturelle

Fills me with joy and a bit of envy. Never really seen it, but it looks like something I should have done when I could. I imagine though, that some of this kind of training might get me back some of what I have lost (or never had).
