    Increasing mileage

Thank you, Tedlet! Have watched Barkley Marathon, http://findingtractionfilm.com/ (273mi), and https://www.runnersworld.com/news/a20860912/meet-the-man-who-just-destroyed-the-appalachian-trail-speed-record/. Enjoying your Julia Chi's interview, also, because she's barefoot.

Cadence of a 'good' barefoot runner?

Maybe instead of overall height, consider leg length or inseam? (Paul NL mentioned above. My opinion? Each person is unique.) I enjoyed the metronome a few times, but usually just follow what was demonstrated in this video at 3:26: Too slow, or too fast cadence felt like more effort...

    2 miles in my Vibrams

Echoing members of this forum, try a little skin-to-ground. Just a block, or several yards. For me, sensory tidal wave hooked me like a crack-pipe! BLAMO!! Have fun and sante! D.

    First Road run in Vibrams

This may be anecdotal, as I've only seen this on the 'net (a mentor's newsletter), but he states, and I do believe, one can run 3x daily distance on race day, without walking. A votre sante. D.

    Doldrums

Joseph, After many months off (renovating old dream house moved into), ran 2x this month. It. Is. A. Joy. If I may, I figured go a few blocks or so, and allowed if wanted to end -- that's okay. Once outside and moving, with fresh air this cabin-fever season, enjoy! Letting go of...

    Hello from northeast Ohio

Welcome Tyler. +1 Phil's. Fun, safety, sheer enjoyment! (After many years of injuries while running shod would cause me to stop to heal annually; experiencing BFR has allowed me the longest continuous stretch evar[!] .) Do explore boundaries/limits, and be careful. As my father shared...

    BFR and mood

If I may share, second divorce wrapped up 2 years ago, and starting running each time, literally saved my life. BFR, with its absence of typical running injuries, has been a huge component, in my experience, of being happier now, than I ever imagined I could be. "Every day is a gift." To...
