Trotting barefoot to work this morning a hipster dude on a bike greeted me with "I like your shoes!"
My response was "They fit great."
I think we're halfway through with week 30 already!
7 hot and humid miles home tonight but I took it easy and managed an 8:55 pace at an AHR of...
Finished the week up with about 7 miles on the same gravel/grit trail as last week but this time it was right after a very heavy rain.
Sorry to read of your continuing troubles Lee. I hope you find a sustainable way of exercising injury free.
I played on my commute today (19C, breezy, low humidity). For the 3 minutes I counted my cadence it was around 192, AHR on the 5+ mile...

It is a fine part of the world and even though the summits...
Rest well now. It doesn't look as though you'll be over-heating!
Take it easy and have fun!
Carry on taking it easy and you should be just fine.
Life is getting in the way of a lot of running pleasure at the moment but I thoroughly enjoyed my 5 barefoot miles to work this morning :)
A cart has only to be propelled. A pack has to be supported as well as moved. The 5 - 10lb pack I run with each morning changes my form - I suspect...
.................and why is he wearing a 56lb pack rather than pushing a cart?
