Congrats guys! wish I could have been there.
It was a fun time but the weather was mess! It is an awesome course and I got to see Hal and Karl battling it out all day. The pace they were running at later in the day was hard to process mentally. It was like everyone else was in slow motion when they were coming down the trail.

I am now tempted to do the 50

I am now tempted to do the 50 again next year if I can make it away from the office. Not sure how that will go. Things are getting better other than the ankle I twisted on mile 48. It is worse today than yesterday.

Anyone know how the no-training dude did?

Nice race report! I told Jim after the race that I couldn't decided if Chase running BF or you battling knee pain was more impressive. John M told me that yall weren't too far behind me when I went through Dam Nation for the last time. I kept taking breaks on the way in thinking that yall would catch me and we could finish together. Then, at the finishing line, Jim said he thought yall were close to finishing but I headed back to the campsite after waiting a bit because I thought I was going to freeze!

NotSo, could you please

NotSo, could you please package it for me and email it to me along with your pictures? When I grab stuff off of other's sites, it messes with the formatting when I try to add it here, and then I have to practically reformat the whole thing. If I have it as a Word doc, for example, I don't have to jump through as many hoops. My email address is [email protected]. Thanks!

Thanks. Next I want to write

Thanks. Next I want to write a follow up about some of the funny conversation... that might be the one to get me banned though. Which was another topic we talked about...

Its now 14 hours after completing the race. Every muscle in my body hurts and resists movement. My feet are swollen and so tired still that I can barely move my toes, and still can't think straight, but I don't think that has anything to do with the race... But whats really crazy is that there are still people out running the course, trying to finish 100 miles! Hats off to those guys and gals! Can't wait for the next one!!!!

Incredible performance I must say.

Good job guys!
