Go, Runlite!

I ran 12 Monday morning, outdoor bike ride for 60 minutes Tuesday morning as the sun came up with 20 minutes swim a couple hours later, but when I tried to run Wednesday, something felt like it was badly cramping in my right calf around 4 miles, such that it seemed wisest to cut things short. I have run through and been able to relax these sorts of things before, but this time it was staying tight. Seems now it might be mildly pulled, so my exercise today was only about 4 hours of barefoot grocery shopping (I've been putting it off and we have company coming...). I considered swimming, but we are having a thunderstorm now. Hopefully, I'll be able to get back to running the beginning of next week. :barefoot:

Went out for another 5 miles at 4:30 am even though I was sleepy. Glad I did.
Right off looked up at another cool moon.
Saw quite a few rabbits. Heard one owl really being vocal.
I was a little sluggish at the start but worked into some nice flow
words that came to mind were floating, cruising, coasting along and souring.
anyway another fun run

Finished up the week with almost 8 miles on grit/gravel trail with a group from work. They were demoing Vibram 5 Fingers whilst I was barefoot.
Yesterday I ran about 300 yards in trainers for a photo shoot (15 x 20 yards) and even though they were only 2 mm drop they totally messed with my footfall!
Not happy with that!

Hey all, thought I would check in.

Running has been going well, unfortunately not to much skin to ground.

Two weeks ago I got in 75 miles. 3 big mountain runs and a short heat training run at home. Highlight was a 31 mile run scouting out the rugged Capitol Reef course. My first long distance in almost half a year.

Last week was work on the Capitol Reef Ultras race. 93 miles over 4 days. Ending with sweeping (picking up the flags and signs and following the last runners) the 50 mile course in one shot. Mostly fast hiking, but did get some running miles in when the runners were far ahead of me and flagging was more spaced out. Feel really good, no problems.

Decided to sign up for my next 100 mile race. Javelina Jundred. http://aravaiparunning.com/network/javelinajundred/ Not really my preference, I like mountain trails, but fits my schedule better.
