I am going to be getting some BRS stickers that are two-color, vinyl, and weather-resistant, about 3"x5"ish. Which one do you think would show up better on the back of a car window, the Original or the Negative? If you did want a sticker, would it be the Horizontal one or the Vertical one? Please help me decide what to order by casting your vote below. Thanks!

The Negative - Horizontal:

Questions:

1) Is this a majority rules thing or a straight vote? I might want to wait till the semi finals to vote.
2) Can we see different colors? the green will clash with a red car.
3) Are they going to be window stickers? If so will they peel off OK if I sell my car to a podiatrist?
4) Why negative? I think we should keep everything positive.

That's all for now.

I originally voted for the original vertical, but after a few days I really kind of like the negative (positive for you Ram) vertical much better. Anyway to change my vote?

Original Horizontal (but it needs a frame and SOCIETY needs to be stretched to fit the rest of the text, and the URL needs to go underneath - true for all versions imo)

Well, once you get that artwork to me. And add a dark blue thin line around it. Maybe you can add the url as well, on one of them, and do that for the negative one as well? Make the url mixed-case, like this www.TheBarefootRunners.org. Thanks!

I have what might be an "obvious" question...but I was wondering, on the mock-ups that you show, will they be printed as shown, or will the "white" space on your samples actually be clear on the decal? I believe that would make a big difference on what shows up well.

huh, good question - I just assumed that the white would be white ie the colors would be printed on opaque white material, not clear cellophane.
I'd definitely check that to be sure. For instance, your latest set of mock-ups look great with the white, but might not be so easy to read if the white is actually clear and someone put the decal on a dark tinted window.

It will be on a white background, Ms. Michele.

Thanks for the artwork, Willie. I sent you an email about all this and responded to yours.

well, TJ did say "vinyl" up at the top of the thread - I really assume that they wouldn't print clear stickers
Good point! I was just thinking of the many university decals I see that are printed on clear. I didn't even notice the "vinyl" you mention.

The foot will grab attention before the type will so I would suggest using a vertical. That way people will instantly see the foot and once you have their attention they will then read the words. The image and the words are visually equal in the horizontal so it makes it more difficult for the brain to process the information as quickly. Having a point of emphasis is good.

Thank you, Tfox, all. Been a while since we heard from you, Tfox. Glad you checked in.
