I did my 2nd run in the Sockwa Amphibian yesterday. It was on a treadmill for 50 Minutes. I wanted to let everyone know that I really liked the feel of them, and the feedback from the bottom of my feet felt extensive. I do most of my treadmill running in InvisibleShoe Huaraches, so the feedback was definitely greater in the Sockwas.

My only complaint is that there is a seam/thread/something on the inside of the shoe that rubbed my foot raw on both feet. In basically the same place. Maybe a band aid will help with that though.

I haven't tried the Sockwa's outside yet, but once I do I will report backc.c

Anyone have more info on the Sockwa Amphibian?

The website advertise a 1.5 mm sole mad of TPU, which sounds ideal. According to Wikipedia, TPU has excellent mechanical properties and elasticity. I'm sure 1.5 mm is less than other water shoes I've worn, and it's less than many "barefoot" MR shoes I've seen advertised. At $45, they're less expensive than other MR shoes I've seen, too.

They look narrow, though, which is something I've noticed with my other water shoes.
