This is a very insightful article that found the common exercises runners do -including squats- are not as effective as other exercises. I am going to start doing these cuz I have major hip issues that the stereo-typical exercises don't do much for.

Jen, I do those exercises as part of my 'mobility' or 'dynamic stretching' routine. I think they're great.
