Art- thanks for reminding me... I ran the whole race in the Sport Kilt. It was really cool, literally and figuratively.

To others out there: if you ever have an opportunity to crew someone for a 100 miler, it is way more fun than I ever thought possible. It helps to crew for a great guy like Jason (who I can't remember complaining once all weekend) and the sense of teamwork and accomplishment from an efficient aid station visit is a heck of a rush. I don't think this was unique to my experience, and I have the sense the same is true of volunteering at an aid station.

Art, I always try to get people to participate in ultras in any capacity. The atosphere is so different than road races... it's a different world.
As far as complaining- that's what the pacer is for.
