A great course by the look of it that does the loop of the Manly Resevoir. I checked the map out and the map shows a small pair of bare feet on it. Is that a sign?
Hopefully it is not a stony or gravel path around the course. If anyone has already run around that area they may be able to provide a better idea of the conditions.

    Hi Kali,
It is in the calender now, no backing down ;)
I have not found many trails that have that nice natural surface, they are usually the gravel chips made for boots. NZ has some nice running trails as I remember from my trip there 3 years ago.

Hmm, I dont recall that bit.

We came out onto the road for the last stretch so maybe we skipped it.

I may still have the Garmin map for it. I'll check and get back to you...

Nope did not do it, George did it last year, and we spoke about it. He scared the hell out of me

I still haven't made up my mind.

Just checked out that video. I definitely didn't run the metal bridge bit but it doesn't look so bad. Neither does some of the other sections. The bit climbing the steep hill is familiar - that's right at the beginning...

You guys will be fine on the metal bridge. I just found it really uncomfortable because of the gaps between the metal it was really digging into the bottom of my feet. I will just have to harden up!
