Hi,

I'm new to this forum and pretty much the idea of barefoot running.
I am trying to understand the difference between runner's knee and osteoartheritis. Perhaps there is a world of difference or perhaps they overlap?

The reason I would like to know is that I would like to run barefoot but have osteoartheritis and my physiotherapist tells me that running is not good for me. I was also told by a person making orthos that I could never walk barefoot but I do all the time.

Was thinking that runner's knee and osteoartheritis were perhaps similar and it seemed like runners with that complaint did get back to running then there might be hope folks with oa.

Tried to find articles about it but have not found any.

Does anyone have an idea? Would appreciate the feedback.

Thanks
