Found this x-country trail by my place today. Knew about it, just never explored it until today. Will be a awesome barefoot run (@2.5 miles). Way too muddy now for bare feet, had a real hard time negotiating the short steep hills in my KSO's. Some of the water crossings were knee deep! First attempt will be with my Neo Trails until I'm sure there's no broken glass hiding! What do you think?

Looks awesome...... Made my first ever true barefoot "trail" run today, a true trail run. Rocks, roots, sticks, stones, thorns, pine needles, mud, leaves...... You name it it was probably there on the ground.

It's never too muddy for bare feet. What, are you kiddin'! :)

My issue is lack of traction on the steeper hills, that plus there's a couple of bush party spots for the local youngsters, and God knows what a guy might step on! Bare foot on a used condom? Yuuuucccckkkk!

TMI is all I got to say. :wtf::eek::hungover::inpain::yuck:

LOL, You asked!!;)), no it's not that bad, but there are some pretty deep water crossings, and I want to make sure what's in there before I bare foot it across! Don't want to be stepping on garbage some dickwad threw away! There is about a mile of hardcore gravel before the trail head, so all the mud will be "therapeutic" after that!! That and my running partner (pictured in my avatar) has really long hair, and it's a bitch cleaning all the mud out of him!!

mud + bf = fun! even if you have to crawl uphill it means you can slide on the way down. plus there's trees on the side to grab to help you up. as for your partner, leave him outside till the mud dries and falls off.
