A few weeks ago, I was given a Hoorag to try out. It is awesome.

It came, neatly folded in a clean little package.

It comes in all kinds of designs. I got black with flame orange and red dragon.

When it's hot and I'm running, the sweat drips into my eyes like crazy. I have worn bandanas, and they are ok, but they get soaked, and then the sweat keeps dripping. The hoorag did a good job of keeping the sweat out of my eyes.

Now that it's finally getting cold in the mornings here in SoCal, I finally got to wear the hoorag on my bike ride in the morning. It is perfect for covering up my ears, but not the top of my head. It fits great under my helmet. And the opening, kept me from overheating.

I have found the hoorag very versatile and easy to use. I've got a big head and it fits snug, but not tight. Just right for my bandana needs. And it's way easier to put on than a bandana.

If you're thinking of getting a new bandana, give a hoorag a try.

do they keep your face warm?

Dama, I'd like to put my $.02 in if I may. I purchased a Hoo Rag recently. I wore it on my run last Saturday when it was 29f and windy, so about a 20f or so windchill. The hoo rag is very thin and although it helps protect your skin from the wind a bit, I don't think it adds much for warmth. If you're looking for something to keep you warm I would suggest going for a neck gaiter, like this:

The Hoo Rag is very useful and versatile, but not much help in the cold unless you roll it up and use it as an earwarmer.

Thanks! it's good to know I will look for one of those things you mentioned.
I do have a Halo band for keeping the sweat out of my face during very hot days, they do a wonderful job!
