Anyone else use an online running log? I have been using mapmyrun for about 2 years now. Its tied in with googlemaps, so you can map out a run and then log your time on that route. It also has tons of free features. Never tried the premium side of things as the free site has more than enough.

Any other good sites out there?

I use Runningahead.com. It

I use Runningahead.com. It uploads my runs directly from my Garmin and also uses google maps. I also use it to keep track of how many miles I run in what. I created a "shoe" named bare feet and one named VFFs. I had my old shoes in there too, but have since retired them.

 I use the log/blog

I use the log/blog at beginnertriathlete.com, its free for the basic features but you have to pay for the full features and that includes multi sports not just running.

I'm going to checkout the Running ahead log sometime.

 I use BIMactive.com (Bones

I use BIMactive.com (Bones in Motion). It's a cell phone application that tracks you through the GPS built into your phone. It's an awesome little tool. It tracks min/mile, elevation change, splits the times per the mile, and shows you your route. If you have to stop at a crosswalk or something and you're there for more than 10 seconds, it counts as a stop and you can remove it from your time when you get in front of your computer at home. I'm a huge fan of it. Follow this link to my blog and check out the layout.

We're hoping to get a running

We're hoping to get a running log program installed here on the BRS site.

I've used RW in the past. It also has a "map my route" type of feature. It's basically just like Mrs. Deplume describes, but it doesn't upload my Garmin data. I used the program that came with my Garmin for that, which also tracks biking, swimming, and other stuff. I don't use any of it anymore though. I was so heavy into recording every little detail at one point, it became burdensome. Running seems so much more freeing now.

I used the RW log for a little bit, but once I got a Garmin, I wanted something that could work with it. I am a Facebook addict, and I love that RunningAhead automatically posts my runs there, too. A bunch of my friends also do it, and it's fun to see everyone else's runs along with mine.

I am currently using several.

I am currently using several. Since I have a Garmin 405CX, the Garmin Connect site automatically updates. I prefer the reporting of Running Ahead. Lately, with a thread on it on BFT's minimalist group, I started updating DailyMile also. Thankfully, RA and DM both sync with the Garmin data. Of the three, I prefer RA. It has good reporting features, a customizable summary page, and supports multiple sports. The graphs allow data point averaging and not just a flat horizontal average line like on Garmin Connect. And, you can have notes on both the whole workout and on individual intervals. I like the idea of BF equipment. I might have to add that.

RA is my favorite. Easy to

RA is my favorite. Easy to navigate and I love to look at my summary page and be able to easily analyze what I've been up to. Lots of great features you can go all out with recording data or you can keep it simple.

 The information below is

The information below is also in my Training Sites Post on my Blog.

I have been using several for nearly 6 months, to see which I liked best. To me the main must-have features are:

1) easy (preferrably automatic) upload of Garmin data and show result as nice graph of activity speed/pace+HeartRate+Cadence

2) graph of daily distance for last several months (so I can see how I am doing)

3) ability to send link to others without them having to be member signed-in (but with access control)

Some sites I am playing with are:

1) DailyMile (Garmin import but no workout graph): http://www.dailymile.com/people/searle

= = DM Workouts: nice open community for sharing workouts and progress

2) RunningAhead: http://www.runningahead.com/logs/3e29c941dd9a434e8374d841c41d3e1e/reports/graph?e12=40&x=12&y=20&t=0
