So I decided to make a little vacation and travel all by myself from my home to the western edge of Mindanao to escape from the extreme heat of summer.

I decided to hike these mountains on barefoot and try to endure the pain from rocks, grass and sometimes crap from cows and goats. Not just that, we need to climb up and down the mountain trails with more than 60 degrees of inclined elevation. It was all fun. A little bit tiring. Plus no mobile coverage. Just cam, batteries and water for enjoyment and replenishment.

I did encounter with some locals living near the proximity of this place. Some I encountered were making a transverse from mountain to mountain barefooted.

That mango tree is the summit of the hill surrounded by forested cliffs.
